億万長者の半数近くが、1年前より貧しくなっています。
株価の下落、ユニコーンの痛手、金利の上昇により、世界で最も裕福な人々にとって、今年は落ち込む年となりました。全世界で、10桁の資産を持つ富豪は2,640人で、昨年の2,668人から減少しました。2022年3月の12.7兆ドルから5,000億ドル減少し、全世界の億万長者は12.2兆ドルとなりました。イーロン・マスクは、ツイッターの高額買収でテスラ株が下落したため、1位から2位に転落しています。高級品大手LVMHのトップであるベルナール・アルノーが世界一の富豪の座を獲得し、フランス国民がランキングのトップに立つのは初めてのことです。米国は依然として最多の億万長者を擁し、735人、総額4.5兆ドルの資産を持つリストです。中国（香港・マカオを含む）は2兆ドル相当の562人の億万長者で2位を維持し、インドが675億ドル相当の169人の億万長者で続いています。純資産額の算出には、2023年3月10日の株価と為替レートを使用しました。
